TELUS Health eClaims for healthcare providers now available
In agreement with TELUS Health Solutions, MDM Insurance Services Inc. is pleased to announce the launch of the TELUS eClaims product for use by healthcare providers.
eClaims is a free, direct billing service, allowing healthcare professionals to submit electronic claims quickly and easily on behalf of patients.
By adopting the TELUS eClaims service, participating providers and plan members can expect a best-in-class digital claims management experience with improved convenience, security, and efficiency.
Plan sponsors will be able to allow their members to have their claims filed electronically right from their participating healthcare provider’s point of service. Healthcare professionals will be able to bill patients directly as well as submit and manage their claims submission through the TELUS Health eClaims service. Patients will enjoy the convenience of paying only the portion of a claim not covered by their insurance when they receive the service. Therefore, eliminating paperwork and reimbursement delays.
The TELUS eClaims service is available to a wide variety of health practitioners including: physiotherapists, chiropractors, vision-care specialists, acupuncturists, massage therapists, naturopathic doctors, psychologists, and podiatrists (excluding dental) regulated by the appropriate provincial or federal organizations. TELUS has over 80,000 healthcare professionals registered for eClaims. Drug claims will continue to be directly submitted on a separate system.
