Health Care Spending Accounts

A Health Care Spending Account (HCSA) is a flexible addition or alternative to a fixed rate health and dental plan.

HCSAs are a non-taxable benefit to employees that provides reimbursement for a wide range of health-related expenses that may not be covered under group benefits plans.

HCSAs are simple to administer. Employees submit HCSA claim to the benefits provider for eligible expenses and are reimbursed in full up to a limit pre-determined by the employer; employers are billed monthly for all claims submitted.
