Canada Post Strike – Switch to Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Now!

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers has begun rotating strikes. This can cause a disruption in mail service and delay payments for services, claims submission and payment.

Why pay by electronic funds transfer (EFT) ?

  • Paying by EFT is easy, fast, secure and convenient.
  • It’s more efficient and less expensive than paper cheque payments and collections.
  • Now is the perfect time to make improvements and modernize your payment system.

We recommend the following in order to ensure that monthly employee benefits payments reach us in a timely manner:

  • Contact us for our Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) form for automatic electronic funds transfer (EFT) on the last day of the month.

Online services for employees

In order to ensure that all plan members are able to submit claims and receive timely reimbursements during the strike, we suggest they make sure that they are set up for electronic claim submission and reimbursement.

If any plan members (employees and dependents) are NOT registered for electronic claims submission and direct deposit for their claim payments please have them do the following:
